Redwood National and State Parks are located along the coast in Humboldt and Del Norte counties, in the state of California, United States. The parks are a complex comprising Redwood National Park and California's Del Norte Coast, Jedediah Smith, and Prairie Creek Redwoods State Parks and feature old-growth temperate rainforests. Herds of Roosevelt elk are the readily observed in the park.
