The Mexican Duck (Anas diazi) is a species of bird (class Aves) in the family of dabbling ducks (Anatidae).
Both sexes resemble a slightly darker female mallard (Anas platyrhynchos). The male's bill dull yellowish. The bill of the female is mottled orange and black.
Found in wetlands including ponds and rivers from the southwestern United States to Mexico.
