The Green Aracari (Pteroglossus viridis) is a species of Toucan (family Ramphastidae) in the order of Woodpeckers and Toucans (Piciformes) of bird (class Aves). It is among the smallest members of the toucan family.
A small toucan, having a clear yellow belly that contrasts sharply with a dark breast. The crown of the male is black, whereas the females' is a reddish brown.
Found in the lowland forests of northeastern South America.
