Mesa Verde National Park

Mesa Verde National Park is located in Montezuma County, in the state of Colorado, United States. The park protects some of the best-preserved Ancestral Puebloan archaeological sites in the United States.

Mesa Verde National Park protects, preserves, researches, and interprets an archeological landscape including more than 600 cliff dwellings, wilderness values, and remarkable scenic resources in southwest Colorado.
